Jean Sini

Jean Sini is General Partner at Partech. He joined in 2019 and is based between San Francisco and New York.

A repeat founder with 20+ years of technical and product leadership experience, Jean has held CTO roles at Activeweave (sold to Twelvefold Media in 2007), Mint.com (acquired by Intuit for $175m in 2010), One Kings Lane, Fountain (acquired by Porch in 2015) and Cadre.

Earlier, he led engineering teams at Symbol Technology, a division of Motorola, and started his career as software engineer at Oracle in San Francisco.

Jean has been investing in and advising early stage technology startups since 2012, including Treasure Data, sold to ARM in 2018 for over $600m ; Canva, currently valued at over $6b, People.ai, ProdPerfect, Antheia, among others.

Jean holds an M.S. degree in Computer Science from Telecom ParisTech and a DEA in Distributed Systems from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris.

Jean is an avid kiteboarder and snowboarder.
